Gladiator Maximus

“A general who became a slave. A slave who became a gladiator. A gladiator who challenged an emperor.”

Betrayed and sold into slavery by his emperor's son, former Roman general Maximus rises to fame as a gladiator in the arena, seeking revenge for the murders of his family and his emperor. A stellar cast, an intriguing plot, and a spectacular gladiatorial contest have earned Ridley Scott's 2000 film the status of one of the most beloved historical epics of all time.

The way the figurine has depicted the people's champion does justice to both the image of the courageous gladiator and Russell Crowe's brilliant portrayal. Maximus' choice of armor and sword indicate that the film's final battle scene is the source of inspiration. By this time, the gladiator had already adorned his chest with symbols representing his many losses - there's a wolf's head, a two-winged sphinx, Maximus' wife and son, his horses, a tree, and an angel. The gladiator holds a sword that Maximus brandishes during the final battle while standing amidst the ruins of the Colosseum -

This figurine is a "Special Series" due to its complexity and the quality of the details (textures, decorations, lace, objects, clothing, etc.) that compose it.

    Shipping option

    There are 3 shipping options:

Without any option - The order is sent in a solid cardboard box and protected with bubble wrap and blocked with paper padding / polystyrene pieces. This is the most economical but riskiest solution (damage or breakage on the figurine)

Expanded polystyrene insert - The order is inserted into a block of expanded polystyrene which prevents any movement in the box and ensures safety against breakage and damage. This is the recommended solution for raw (unpainted) figurines.

EPE foam insert - this is the ultimate solution for painted or complex miniatures (with fine details like horns or thin and prominent elements). Any risk of damage and/or breakage is eliminated. The order is embedded in a block of EPE foam and each element is separated from each other.

We'll keep you updated when your order is on its way!
